At SoilX, we are on a mission to revolutionize agriculture by harnessing the power of data and technology. Our project is dedicated to providing farmers with the tools they need to make informed decisions about irrigation, ultimately leading to more sustainable and efficient farming practices.
Our Focus
Our primary focus is to develop cutting-edge technology that offers optimal irrigation recommendations to farmers managing vast expanses of land with diverse soil characteristics. We understand the challenges faced by today's agricultural industry and believe that data-driven insights can drive positive change.
Leadership and Collaboration
Under the leadership of Seyed Zekavat, our team of dedicated researchers collaborates closely with farmers, initially in Michigan and beyond. We aim to create soil moisture maps and leverage advanced techniques to empower farmers with the knowledge they need to make the right crop choices. I mentored and helped several MTQP student along with my journey with SOILX
Our Achievements
Throughout our journey, we have achieved significant milestones. Our team has published more than five research papers related to this project. Among them, I am the first author for there of them sofar, reflecting our commitment to advancing the field of agriculture through innovation. We are actively involved in data collection and analysis, contributing directly to the project's success.
